Preconstruction Manager / Senior Estimator

A growing design-build commercial general contractor is looking for a Preconstruction Manager / Senior Estimator to join its Texas team. You'll lead budgets and estimates from early concept through buyout and report directly to regional leadership.

What You'll Do

- Lead conceptual, schematic and hard-bid estimates for commercial design-build projects

- Work with owners, architects and engineers early to shape budgets and scope

- Build and manage bid packages, scope sheets and trade contractor coverage

- Provide value engineering, constructability and cost-saving ideas

- Hand projects off cleanly to operations with a clear budget and buyout plan

- Grow relationships with trade partners across North Texas

What You Bring

- 5+ years with a general contractor, including 3+ years in preconstruction or estimating

- Design-build experience is a strong plus

- Strong command of quantity takeoffs, cost data and estimating software

- Clear communication and a team-first approach

- A degree in construction management or related field, or equivalent experience
