    Preconstruction Manager - Data Centers

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a skilled Preconstruction Manager to oversee the planning and development phases of data center projects. This role focuses on ensuring that all preconstruction activities are executed efficiently, aligning with the company's objectives, while also managing estimates and project timelines.

    Key Responsibilities

    Lead the preconstruction phase of data center projects, ensuring clarity in design and scope.

    Develop detailed cost estimates and budgets for all stages of construction.

    Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to optimize project design and execution.

    Manage bid processes, including preparation of bid documents and evaluation of contractor proposals.

    Oversee the development of project schedules to ensure timely completion of preconstruction activities.

    Facilitate communication between stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure project alignment.

    Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate potential issues.

    Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and best practices in data center construction.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

    5+ years of experience in preconstruction management, specifically in data centers or mission-critical facilities.

    Proven expertise in estimating and cost management for construction projects.

    Strong understanding of design-bid-build and design/build project delivery methods.

    Experience with Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) processes is highly desirable.

    Familiarity with healthcare and hospital construction projects is a plus.

    Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
