Preconstruction Manager

Overview

We are seeking a Preconstruction Manager to lead estimating and budgeting efforts for commercial construction projects from concept through project turnover.

Responsibilities

• Prepare conceptual, schematic, and detailed project estimates.
• Develop and maintain project budgets throughout design.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing.
• Perform quantity takeoffs, bid leveling, and cost analysis.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and project risks.
• Collaborate with owners, architects, consultants, and operations teams.
• Support project pursuits, proposals, and preconstruction activities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction estimating or preconstruction experience.
• Strong experience with budgeting, estimating, and quantity takeoffs.
• Ability to review drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Knowledge of construction means, methods, and costs.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam and estimating software.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CMAR and Design-Build delivery methods.
• Healthcare construction experience.
• Familiarity with Procore and BuildingConnected.
• Established relationships within the DFW subcontractor market.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Dallas, TX.

The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $145000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
