Precision Small-Parts Assembly Technician

Location: East Providence, RI
Compensation: $18/hour

Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

A day in this role

Start your morning on a clean, organized production floor at 7:00 AM. You’ll move between workstations, assembling compact products with care, checking your work for accuracy, and keeping documentation current so production never misses a beat. By 3:30 PM, you’ve helped ship quality goods and kept the line running smoothly—ready to do it again tomorrow as you build experience toward a permanent spot on the team.

What you’ll do

• Put together, package, and label small products with consistency and care.
• Carry out basic visual and functional quality checks to ensure standards are met.
• Use simple tools and shop equipment safely and correctly.
• Follow written work instructions and all safety procedures.
• Complete production forms and related documentation accurately.
• Keep your workstation neat, organized, and ready for the next task.

What you bring

• Previous manufacturing or assembly exposure is a plus (not required).
• Experience with small device or medical device assembly is preferred.
• Comfort with basic computer tasks and mechanical hand tools.
• Sharp attention to detail and pride in quality work.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Able to lift up to 20 lbs.
