Precision Servo Rebuild Technician — Euless, TX

A day on the bench

Your shift starts at 8:00 AM. The first motor on your cart arrived with erratic feedback. You document the intake details, remove the encoder, and begin a methodical tear-down. By mid-morning, you are deep into inspection—checking bearings, winding integrity, and alignment—before rebuilding with exacting care. After lunch, you wire up the test stand, calibrate the feedback device, and validate that the unit meets manufacturer specifications. Before 5:00 PM, you record every part used, every test value captured, and collaborate with teammates to hit turnaround goals.

You will handle

• Diagnostics, repair, and complete rebuilds of servo motors, feedback devices, and related components
• Full tear-downs, detailed inspections, and precise reassembly
• Troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical faults using meters, scopes, and other diagnostic equipment
• Functional testing and calibration to confirm compliance with OEM standards
• Accurate documentation of repairs, parts, measurements, and test results
• Close coordination with the team to meet promised turnaround times and production targets
• Ongoing learning as new motor types, encoders, and repair techniques emerge

What makes you a strong fit

• Hands-on servo motor repair background; bench-level expertise is preferred
• Solid mechanical and electrical troubleshooting capability
• Comfort reading and applying schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools, meters, and test equipment
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Self-directed, productive, and effective in a fast-paced shop environment
• Technical training in electronics, electromechanical technology, or similar
• Exposure to motor drives, encoders, and broader industrial automation systems
• Familiarity with testing and calibration procedures

Work setup and schedule

• In-shop, bench-repair role working with precision components (not a field service role)
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Location: Euless, Texas
