Your Day-in-the-Life
Start of Shift
- Review job travelers, blueprints, and technical drawings to plan weld sequences for steel, aluminum, and stainless components.
- Set up and calibrate MIG, TIG, and Stick equipment for peak performance; prep materials and verify consumables.
Midday Momentum
- Execute precise welds across multiple processes and materials, monitoring parameters to meet specifications.
- Collaborate with teammates to streamline setups, improve throughput, and troubleshoot welding-related issues.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain an organized, hazard-free workspace.
Finish Strong
- Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and adherence to drawings and standards.
- Document results, flag variances, and recommend process enhancements.
- Clean, maintain, and stage equipment for the next run.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent; welding trade schooling preferred.
- Hands-on welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proficiency with MIG, TIG, and Stick techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specs, and technical documents.
- Meticulous attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
- Problem-solver with a collaborative, team-first mindset.
- Welding certification is a plus.
