    Description

    A day in the life

You start your shift by checking calibration on the shop’s micrometers, gauges, and calipers. A new production run is ready, so you pull up the blueprint, scan the GD&T callouts, and load a CMM routine to validate capability on the first pieces. You record dimensional results, flag a potential trend, and sit down with the Lead Quality Inspector and Cell Leaders to review the data. Before the batch moves to packing, you sign the certificates of conformation and verify every required document is included with the first article. Throughout the day, you accept or reject finished parts against spec, maintain the tool inventory, and keep Zero Hour Parts’ quality management system front and center—because meeting customer expectations is non‑negotiable.
