Redbud Septic Sewer and Excavating provides septic, sewer, excavating, and demolition services throughout the Monticello, Champaign-Urbana, and Decatur area, including free estimates on repairs and installations. We are a growing, locally owned company looking for a skilled operator to join our crew.
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Precision Excavator Operator to perform septic system installations, sewer and water line work, and grading. The right candidate takes pride in accurate work, cares for the equipment they run, and can be counted on to show up ready to work.
Responsibilities
- Install septic systems to specification
- Perform sewer repairs and water line installation and repair
- Perform grading work, including cutting systems in on grade
- Load trucks safely and efficiently
- Lubricate, adjust, and maintain equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and light repairs on equipment
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Work Location
Report each morning to our shop at 461 N Fisler Road, Monticello, Illinois. Job sites are located throughout the surrounding area.

Pay based on experience
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating excavating equipment
- Valid driver's license (required)
- CDL preferred
- Ability to perform physical work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Dependable and punctual
