Precision EDM Technician — CNC Setup & Operation

Do you thrive turning complex blueprints into flawless parts? Our client is hiring multiple Precision EDM Technicians to set up and run CNC EDM equipment and help keep a high-performance manufacturing cell at peak throughput.

Ask Yourself:

• Can you set up and operate EDM sinker, wire, or popper machines confidently?
• Do you routinely validate parts to tight engineering/customer tolerances?
• Are you fluent in GD&T and advanced inspection methods?
• Do you keep meticulous documentation and ensure seamless shift handoffs?
• Will you champion TPM, safety, and a 6S workspace while supporting grind ops when needed?

Shifts

• Afternoons: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Nights: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM

Must-Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–5 years with wire or sinker EDMs (GD&T experience required).
• Blueprint, planning, and spec interpretation skills.
• Team-first mindset; able to juggle multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with Siemens CNC controls (preferred).
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs (4"–25"), push/pull 60 lbs, grip 50 lbs, and reach 65" overhead.
• Must be able to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance if needed.

What You’ll Do Daily

• Program, set up, and run EDM jobs; verify against manufacturing standards and prints.
• Visually inspect parts for burrs/surface damage and document results.
• Keep material and parts flowing; communicate status at shift change.
• Perform routine TPM and sustain a clean, organized 6S area.
• Jump in on grinding operations as needed.

Compensation & Benefits

• $25–$37.50/hr + shift premiums.
