    Step Into a Precision-Driven Role

    TekPro partners with a highly respected aerospace manufacturer to add a CNC Lathe Machinist to the 2nd shift team (3:00 - 1:30AM). You’ll join a clean, well-organized, and stable environment where steady hours, consistent overtime, regular raises, and strong leadership support your growth.

    A Day in Your Shift

    You clock in and review your job packet. A new aerospace turning job is queued up. You set up a 2–4 axis CNC lathe (Haas, Okuma, Doosan, or DMG Mori Seiki), call up the program on Fanuc or comparable controls, dial in tools, and make offsets for a first-article run. With blueprints and GD&T in hand, you verify every critical dimension using micrometers, calipers, and gauges. You document results, adjust minor program details as needed, and keep production moving with tight-tolerance accuracy. When a chip control issue pops up, you troubleshoot quickly to maintain flow and quality.

    What You’ll Do

    • Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce tight-tolerance aerospace components
    • Interpret blueprints and GD&T requirements for precision turning work
    • Perform tool changes, apply offsets, and make minor program edits
    • Inspect parts with micrometers, calipers, and gauges; maintain documentation
    • Uphold high quality standards while troubleshooting machining issues

    What You Bring

    • 2+ years of CNC lathe setup and operation experience
    • Strong blueprint reading skills and solid GD&T knowledge
    • Proven ability to hold tight tolerances in production
    • Familiarity with Fanuc or similar CNC controls
    • Confidence working independently on 2nd shift (3:00 - 1:30AM)
