A Day in the Life
Start your shift reviewing work orders, blueprints, and flat patterns to plan accurate bend sequences.
Set up Strippit LVD CNC and NC Brake Presses, selecting the right tooling and dialing in back gauges for repeatable results.
Operate both CNC and manual press brake equipment to form sheet metal parts to exact specifications.
Run a first-article and verify dimensions using calipers, protractors, height gauges, and other precision measurement tools.
Monitor machine performance and make on-the-fly adjustments to maintain consistent quality throughout each production run.
Support the team with safe material handling, loading and unloading sheet using hoists or manual techniques.
What You Bring
1–3 years operating a press brake in a fabrication or manufacturing setting (CNC experience preferred).
Fluency in reading technical drawings, understanding bend deductions, and recognizing fabrication symbols.
Solid knowledge of sheet metal behavior: materials, thicknesses, bend allowances, and forming characteristics.
Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods.
Current forklift or overhead crane certification.
Hands-on experience with Amada, Accurpress, Cincinnati, or similar CNC press brake systems.
Schedule & Pay
1st Shift: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, Monday–Friday
Half-day Saturdays for overtime are sometimes available
Pay: $20–$26/hour, based on experience
