Your impact
- Operate vertical and horizontal CNC mills on both production and non-production work.
- Set up machines, load materials, verify programs/offsets, and run parts to spec.
- Follow the Process Routing Document for each job; inspect features and document results legibly.
- Perform manual deburring and ensure required finish/edge conditions.
- Complete job paperwork accurately; manage assigned records as the owner.
- Troubleshoot with supervisors, quality, and teammates to resolve machining or quality issues.
- Perform daily maintenance; maintain a clean, safe, and organized area.
- Protect company, customer, and supplier property (electronic, intellectual, and physical).
- Follow all applicable Quality Management System procedures, work instructions, and forms.
What you need to bring
- 1–3 years of experience in vertical/horizontal CNC milling.
- Comfort with 2nd shift (5-day work week, 8-hour shifts, 2:15-10:45PM).
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to read blueprints and use calipers, height gauges, and micrometers.
- Proficiency in drilling, turning, and tapping; familiarity with vertical and horizontal equipment.
- Bridgeport experience preferred.
- Inspection competence and basic math skills.
- Mechanical and technical aptitude; fluent English (written/spoken).
