Picture the start of your shift: you step into a clean, safe manufacturing floor lined with state-of-the-art CNC equipment. You load data, review toolpaths, confirm ATL offsets, and bring complex die components to life. Whether you prefer the rhythm of 2nd shift or the focus of 3rd, you’ll own the process from blueprint to finished part while documenting your work with precision.
Compensation
$25.00 – $30.00 per hour, based on experience and skill set. This range does not include the total compensation package.
Shift Premiums
- 2nd Shift: +$2.00/hour
- 3rd Shift: +$1.50/hour

Why this role exists
Join a custom contract manufacturing team delivering everything from single components and OEM parts/subassemblies to full manufacturing and engineering capabilities. This position is available on 2nd and 3rd shift.
What you’ll do
- Use product data to operate CNC equipment and produce die components per provided instructions.
- Read and interpret blueprints for products, dies, and checking fixtures to determine geometry, structure, and the correct tooling and checking methods.
- Document jobs thoroughly; store data and tool files in an organized directory tree as instructed by the Plant Manager.
- Request materials and resources with ample lead time to protect the production schedule.
- Set up and operate lathes, mills, grinders, saws, and drill presses safely, minimizing scrap and time loss.
- Set up and run CNC machines following a detailed instruction list, applying correct ATL offsets.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
What you bring
- At least 2 years in machining, methodizing, and/or CNC programming.
- Proven ability to make sound decisions using both data trends and intuition (required).
- Strong problem-solving mindset and meticulous attention to detail.
- Hands-on troubleshooting skills for mechanical and logistical issues.
- Solid computer proficiency and math aptitude.
Physical demands
- Stand and walk for extended periods while operating CNC equipment.
- Use hands/fingers frequently to handle tools, parts, and machine controls with precision.
- Lift and move materials and components up to 50 lbs on a frequent basis.
- Occasionally bend, reach, or crouch to load/unload machines.
- Close vision and depth perception needed for blueprint reading and part inspection.
Work environment
- Active manufacturing floor with CNC machines, lathes, mills, and other machine tools.
- Exposure to metal shavings, cutting fluids, and lubricants.
- High noise levels; hearing protection is required and provided.
- Safety glasses are required and provided.
- Steel-toe safety shoes or boots are required.
Schedule
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Monday – Friday with occasional overtime, including weekends as needed.
