At our St. Louis, MO facility, you’ll work with advanced manual and CNC machine tools to craft high-quality components. You’ll collaborate with teammates who value craftsmanship, lean into problem-solving, and take pride in doing things right the first time.
What you’ll do
- Set up and run a variety of equipment—manual lathes, manual mills, and CNC machines—to produce parts to specification.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job specifications to plan machining operations and select tooling.
- Dial in offsets, adjust feeds and speeds, and monitor operations to maintain accuracy, surface finish, and throughput.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues as they arise to minimize downtime.
- Keep your work area orderly and safe, following established protocols and best practices at all times.
- Partner with peers to refine setups, improve processes, and boost productivity.
- Record production information and maintain clear, accurate documentation of work performed.
What you’ll bring
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or a machining certificate is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience as a machinist with a strong grasp of machining fundamentals.
- Fluency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Familiarity with CNC programming and operation is highly desirable.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to top-tier quality.
- Strong troubleshooting ability and comfort working both independently and as part of a team.
- Solid knowledge of safety practices and regulations in a manufacturing setting.
