Pre-Press Technician / Customer Service Representative

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Pre-Press Technician / Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role combines technical pre-press responsibilities with direct customer interaction, ensuring artwork is properly prepared for flexographic printing while delivering excellent service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Press Duties
- Prepare, edit, and finalize customer artwork for flexographic printing
- Review files for accuracy, print readiness, and quality standards
- Make necessary adjustments including sizing, color correction, and layout alignment
- Create and manage print-ready files using Adobe Creative Cloud (primarily Illustrator)
- Communicate with internal teams to ensure jobs meet production requirements
- Maintain organized digital files and job records
Customer Service Duties
- Communicate with customers via phone and email regarding artwork, orders, and revisions
- Assist customers with file setup, specifications, and troubleshooting
- Ensure customer requirements are clearly understood and executed
- Provide updates on job status and timelines
- Handle revisions and approvals in a timely and professional manner
Qualifications
Required
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Illustrator
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience or knowledge of flexographic printing processes
- Background in pre-press, graphic design, or print production
- Experience working in a manufacturing or print environment
