Pre- Op & IV LPN PRN

The Pre-Op IV LPN will play a key role in preparing patients for procedures and ensuring a smooth, safe pre-operative process. This role is ideal for a nurse looking to supplement their schedule while working in a focused, patient-centered environment.

Complete Women's Care is seeking a skilled and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with IV experience to support our in-office surgical team on a PRN basis (1-2 days per month). This role is ideal for a nurse looking to supplement their schedule while working in a focused, patient-centered environment. The Pre-Op IV LPN will play a key role in preparing patients for procedures and ensuring a smooth, safe pre-operative process.


Key Responsibilities:

•  Initiate and maintain IV access for surgical patients 
•  Perform pre-operative assessments, including vital signs and patient history review 
•  Prepare patients for in-office surgical procedures 
•  Ensure all pre-op documentation is complete and accurate 
•  Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to support efficient workflow 
•  Provide patient education and reassurance prior to procedures 
•  Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant clinical environment 

Qualifications:

•  Current LPN license in [State] 
•  Proven IV insertion and management experience required 
•  Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills 
•  Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment 
•  Excellent communication and patient care skills 
•  Previous surgical or procedural experience preferred 

Schedule:

•  PRN: 1–2 days per month (scheduled in advance)
