Pre Lung Transplant Coordinator

Overview: This role serves as a key clinical resource and patient advocate, coordinating the complex care of patients with advanced lung disease from initial referral through transplant evaluation, selection, waitlisting, and transplantation. Responsibilities: Clinical management of general hepatology patients, transplant candidates and living donors from the time of referral through transplantation and beyond.

Facilitate multidisciplinary communication throughout evaluation process

Responsibilities:

Clinical management of general hepatology patients, transplant candidates and living donors from the time of referral through transplantation and beyond.

Qualifications:

Education

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Required

Work Experience

• 2 years of nursing experience Required
• 2 years of critical care or procurement experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Required
• CCTC - Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator Preferred or
• CCTN - Certified Cardiothoracic Nurse within Cardiac Surgery Subspecialty Preferred or
• CCPC Preferred
