    We are seeking a caring and dedicated Pre-K Assistant Teacher to support the lead teacher in creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for young children. The ideal candidate will assist with classroom instruction, provide individualized support to students, reinforce positive behavior, and help ensure the smooth operation of daily classroom activities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support classroom instruction through small group and one-on-one learning activities.
    • Assist children with classroom assignments, developmental goals, and daily routines.
    • Provide individualized support for children with diverse learning, behavioral, or developmental needs.
    • Reinforce positive behavior and help maintain a structured, nurturing classroom environment.
    • Supervise children during classroom activities, transitions, meals, and outdoor play.
    • Prepare learning materials, organize classroom spaces, and assist with daily administrative tasks.
    • Collaborate with teachers and families to support children's growth and development.
    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 48 college credits, an Associate's degree, or a passing score on the ETS ParaPro Assessment.
    • Experience working with children in a school, childcare, or community-based setting preferred.
    • Strong communication, patience, teamwork, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to actively engage with young children and assist with classroom activities throughout the day.
    • Must successfully pass all required background and fingerprint checks.
    Compensation: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
