Position: Pre-K Assistant Teacher
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Lead Teachers in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote overall child development
- Support classroom management and maintain a structured, engaging learning environment
- Help prepare children for kindergarten by introducing early educational concepts through play-based learning
- Assist with daily routines, including meals, rest time, and classroom transitions
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and team members
- Maintain open communication with parents using the classroom management system
- Follow all center policies, safety guidelines, and licensing requirements
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience in childcare or early education (preferred)
Compensation
$14.00 – $15.00 per hour, based on location, education, and experience
