St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic School is seeking a loving, energetic, and dedicated Pre-K3 Teacher for the upcoming school year. The ideal candidate will create a safe, joyful, and engaging classroom environment that supports the growth of our youngest learners.
Lead daily prayer and model Catholic values
Foster a warm, nurturing, and structured classroom environment
Implement age-appropriate lessons through play-based learning
Develop early language, social, motor, and readiness skills
Support toileting, routines, and independence skills as needed
Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress
Maintain classroom records, attendance, and progress updates
Collaborate with faculty and administration
Attend school meetings, trainings, and events
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood, Elementary Education, or related field preferred
Louisiana certification or eligibility preferred
Experience with preschool-aged children preferred
Strong communication and classroom management skills
Commitment to Catholic mission and values
Background check and Safe Environment training required
