General Purpose of Job:
Responsible for providing assessment, evaluation, and treatment of surgical patients in the Pre-Admission Testing Clinic and inpatient setting under the delegated authority and supervision of the physicians within the scope of medical practice set forth by the State of Michigan and the medical staff of Sparrow Health System.
Essential Duties:

Job Requirements
General Requirements • Current Respective Michigan Licensure. • BCLS, ACLS current. Work Experience • Minimum 2 years experience required Education • Graduate of Accredited Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner Program • BA/BS, MS preferred Specialized Knowledge and Skills • Demonstrated clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate medical interventions. • Interpersonal skill to effectively and appropriately communicate with patients, families, physicians, nurses, and other health system associates. • Demonstrated excellent verbal, written, and oral communication skills. • Experience in both outpatient setting. • Basic computer skills • EMR experience preferred
