Shift: Monday Friday | 9:00 AM 5:00 PM

We are hiring a Pre-Analytical Laboratory Technician I to support a busy laboratory team in Redwood City, CA. This position is ideal for candidates interested in laboratory operations, healthcare, biotech, or diagnostics. You will be responsible for receiving and processing incoming specimens, performing data entry, accessioning samples, and maintaining accurate laboratory documentation.

Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, unpack, and track incoming laboratory samples

• Verify patient information and specimen labeling

• Perform sample accessioning and order entry using LIMS/software systems

• Scan and organize laboratory paperwork and pathology reports

• Maintain specimen storage and accurate documentation

• Perform routine equipment maintenance and housekeeping tasks

• Follow SOPs, GMP/GDP practices, and quality standards

• Support daily laboratory workflow and team operations

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment

• Previous laboratory, healthcare, manufacturing, or regulated-environment experience is a plus

Pay: $20.30/hour
Schedule: Monday Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
