Pride Health is hiring a Specimen Processing - Pre-Analytical Assistant I to support our client’s medical facility in following cities, Miramar, FL. This is a 3-month assignment and it's a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Pre-Analytical Assistant I to support specimen processing and laboratory operations. This role performs essential pre-analytical functions in a fast-paced clinical laboratory environment and requires accuracy, reliability, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort, rack, centrifuge, and aliquot laboratory specimens.
- Pick up, transport, deliver, and store specimens according to established procedures.
- Identify issues involving specimen types, missing information, and test-order requirements and assist with timely resolution.
- Follow procedures related to specimen handling, test ordering, compliance, and safety.
- Complete required documentation accurately and within established timeframes.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area in accordance with workplace standards.
- Meet quality and productivity expectations following training.
- Support departmental staffing needs, including occasional weekends, holidays, overtime, or on-call assignments as required.
Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Medical or clinical laboratory background preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and specimen types is a plus.

- Location: Miramar, FL
- Job Type: 13-week contract
- Pay Range: $17 - $19 (Hourly)
- Shifts: Tue – Sat, 2:00 AM–10:30 AM
