    Qualifications

    • Bachelor''s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field Required
    • Associate''s Degree and 4 years experience in an office practice environment at a supervisory level Required

    • 1 or more years working in a medical practice environment with at least one year''s experience at a supervisory level Required
    • 1 or more years of insurance and reimbursement, CPT codes, ICD codes, and Medicare/Medicaid compliance procedures Preferred

    Licenses and Certifications

    Essential Functions

    • Demonstrate the ability to function in an administrative role.
    • Develop and manage departmental budget.
    • Seek ways to increase revenue while decreasing expenses.
    • Demonstrate the ability to communicate financial data to physicians, director, and (or) senior staff.
    • Demonstrate an overall understanding of financial data.
    • Demonstrate the ability to oversee the day-to-day operations of department.
    • Demonstrate the ability to hold department accountable for overall performance.

    COMMUNICATION

    • Demonstrate the ability to communicate in a professional manner.
    • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
    • Communicate effectively with patients, staff and physicians.
    • Hold staff members accountable for communicating professionally.
    • Act as a resource person within the department regarding communication skills.
