    Position Overview
    We are seeking an experienced Practice Coordinator to support the daily operations and staff of an outpatient healthcare practice in Reno, Nevada. This opportunity is well suited for a Registered Nurse (RN) or Medical Assistant (MA) who has previous management, supervisory, or team leadership experience in a clinical setting.
    The Practice Coordinator will help oversee clinic workflows, staffing, patient service, scheduling, and other operational functions. The successful candidate will be comfortable providing day-to-day direction to staff while working closely with providers and clinical leadership to maintain efficient operations and a positive patient experience.
    Key Responsibilities

    • Coordinate daily practice operations, staffing schedules, and coverage needs.
    • Provide day-to-day oversight, guidance, and support to clinical and administrative team members.
    • Help maintain productive workflows and consistent standards across the practice.
    • Review employee time records for accuracy and ensure approvals are completed according to payroll deadlines.
    • Monitor patient flow, wait times, service quality, and patient feedback.
    • Respond to patient concerns and assist with resolving service issues professionally.
    • Identify opportunities to improve clinic efficiency, workflow, and the patient experience.
    • Support patient access, appointment scheduling, EMR processes, and medical and office supply needs.
    • Maintain appropriate HIPAA and patient privacy practices.
    • Serve as an on-site resource for providers, employees, and patients.
    • Participate in onboarding, orientation, and training of new employees.
    • Help maintain an organized, functional, and properly equipped clinical environment.
    • Escalate staffing, operational, patient, or facility concerns to appropriate leadership.
    • Work with clinical leadership on employee coaching, performance feedback, evaluations, and corrective action when necessary.
    • Travel between practice locations as needed.
    • Perform other operational or clinical support responsibilities based on practice needs.
    Required Qualifications
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • RN or Medical Assistant background.
    • Minimum of 2 years of medical office or outpatient healthcare experience.
    • Previous management, supervisory, or team leadership experience in a healthcare or medical practice setting.
    • Current BLS certification.
    • Understanding of outpatient practice operations, patient flow, and scheduling.
    • Ability and willingness to travel between multiple practice locations.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Comfortable using standard workplace technology, including Microsoft applications.
    • Experience with, or ability to quickly learn, an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
    • Strong organizational and time-management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
    • Ability to work independently while effectively leading and supporting a team.
    • Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to perform the physical responsibilities associated with the position.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Associate degree or higher in a healthcare-related field.
    • Active RN license.
    • At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience within a medical office, physician practice, or outpatient healthcare environment.
    • Demonstrated experience leading employees, coordinating clinic workflows, and supporting day-to-day practice operations.
