Position Description
Join the WDTC team toinstructstudentsinthePracticalNursingProgram.Theinstructionalprogramoccursinaclassroom lecture, lab and clinical settings, and prepares students to work in the practical nursing field.
Reports to: Director of Nursing
Supervises: Adjuncts as needed
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position and the work to be performed will be done in a classroom lecture setting nursing lab and clinical settings. Generally, days of work are Monday through Friday from 7:30am-4pm. Hours of work may include evenings/weekends for planned school events. There may be times when travel is required for meetings/training.
Physical Demands:
The duties of this position are sedentary in nature with lectures in a classroom setting and labs in the simulation center; some standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, crawling, twisting, climbing, balancing and lifting/moving objects up to 50 lbs. will be required. The use of hands to use the computer and handle objects or reach with hands and arms and the ability to talk and hear.

Qualifications
Bachelors Degree required, Masters Degree preferred, and a minimum of three years of related practical nursing industry work experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of the work required in practical nursing. SD Registered Nursing license and drivers license required.
