Hold a current West Virginia Registered Nurse license in good standing. Successful applicant shall have a minimum of three (3) years (6000 clock hours) of professional experience as a registered nurse. The most recent experience shall be within the past three (3) years. Such experience shall include: two (2) years of patient bedside nursing care in an acute, intermediate, or long-term clinical facility; a minimum of one (1) year in one of the following fields: teaching, supervision, or administration. Successful applicant shall submit evidence of continuing education with a minimum of fifteen (15) contact hours of continuing education each year relating to the specific employment responsibilities.
