Pay Range: $45.00 - $55.00 Pert Hour

Job Summary:

This role involves supporting the North American development and localization of hybrid and electric drive units, with a focus on motor design and integration. The engineer will collaborate with global teams and local suppliers to enhance product quality, performance, and cost-effectiveness. This position requires creating and modifying designs, solving technical issues, and ensuring seamless integration of electric drive units into vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and modify hybrid electric motor components and sub-assemblies.
• Develop design specifications including 3D models, 2D drawings, and technical reports.
• Integrate electrified drive units into vehicle designs while prioritizing key attributes.
• Collaborate with international engineering teams and local suppliers on component development.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues throughout the development lifecycle.

Must-Have Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with CAD/CAE software and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Experience in the automotive industry, specifically with hybrid and electric vehicle powertrain components, is highly preferred.
