A Day in the Role
At our Memphis, TN 38115 facility, you’ll be the momentum behind smooth operations. Your shift starts with safety: inspecting your equipment and confirming everything is in top condition. From there, you’ll navigate the floor operating sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and electric pallet jacks to stage, move, and organize product exactly where it needs to be. You’ll coordinate with teammates to hit production targets, keep meticulous movement records, and leave your area clean and orderly for the next handoff.
What You’ll Do
- Operate sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and electric pallet jacks to move, locate, and stack materials in assigned zones.
- Load and unload trailers with care, ensuring goods are handled properly.
- Complete daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs immediately.
- Follow all safety procedures and site guidelines to keep the workplace safe.
- Support inventory accuracy by tracking material moves and updating records.
- Partner closely with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current forklift operator certification.
- Hands-on experience with forklifts in warehouse or distribution environments.
- Sharp attention to detail with a strong safety mindset.
- Comfort working independently and collaborating as part of a team.
- Clear communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as required.
