Power Transformer Test Technician
Responsibilities
- Responsibilities
- Prepare power transformers for testing
- Perform all IEEE required testing per engineer and customer requirements
- Operation of overhead cranes & transfer carts
- Use in house software to create components of a certified test report for engineering approval
- Perform all testing in a safe manner and within company policies
- Perform troubleshooting when required on testing equipment
Skills/Qualifications
- • Minimum of 5 years of experience in high voltage testing in power transformer industry.
- Good written and verbal skills
- Experience using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access
- Ability to read and understand electrical & mechanical drawings
