Microsoft Power Platform Specialist

Location: Santa Clara, CA

Schedule: Hybrid (2-3 Days Onsite)

Duration: 12-Month Contract

Position Overview

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Microsoft Power Platform Specialist to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise applications and business process automation solutions. This role will partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to design scalable solutions utilizing Microsoft Power Platform technologies, Microsoft Fabric, SQL, and other Microsoft ecosystem tools.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, SQL development, and enterprise application support, with the ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support Microsoft Power Apps solutions, including Canvas Apps.
• Build and maintain Power Automate workflows for business process automation, approvals, notifications, and integrations.
• Develop, troubleshoot, and optimize SQL queries to support applications and reporting requirements.
• Create and support Microsoft Fabric solutions, including data pipelines, Lakehouse/Warehouse components, and reporting integrations.
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with SharePoint, SQL databases, APIs, and other Microsoft technologies.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement enhancements to existing applications and workflows.
• Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, workflow diagrams, and support procedures.
• Participate in testing, deployment, and ongoing support activities.

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Apps, including Canvas Apps development.
• Strong experience building and supporting solutions with Power Automate.
• Proficiency in writing, troubleshooting, and optimizing SQL queries.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, including data pipelines and Lakehouse/Warehouse environments.
• Experience integrating Power Platform applications with SharePoint, SQL databases, APIs, and Microsoft services.
• Strong troubleshooting and production support experience within enterprise environments.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI reporting and dashboard development.
• Experience working with Microsoft Dataverse.
• Experience with Azure services and cloud-based application support.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale business applications and automation initiatives.
