Power Platform Developer
Location: Charlotte, NC
Contract: 12 months | Potential conversion
Schedule: 7:30 AM–4:30 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Work Arrangement: First 30 days onsite 5 days/week; then hybrid 3 days onsite/week
Max Pay Rate: $61/hr (W2 only)
We are seeking a Power Platform Developer / Business Process Automation Analyst to help improve operational efficiency through process improvement, workflow automation, and low-code application development.
The ideal candidate will combine hands-on Microsoft Power Platform development with strong business process and analytical skills. You will work with business stakeholders to understand existing processes, identify opportunities for automation, gather requirements, and translate business needs into scalable technology solutions.
What You’ll Do:
- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements
- Gather and document business requirements, workflows, pain points, and desired outcomes
- Design, build, test, and support Microsoft Power Apps solutions
- Develop automated workflows using Power Automate
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with SharePoint, Excel, Dataverse, SQL, and other enterprise data sources
- Build forms, screens, business rules, notifications, and workflow logic
- Support data validation, exception handling, and governance requirements
- Develop operational metrics, reporting, and dashboards
- Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions
- Document solution architecture, requirements, workflows, and support procedures
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and solution demonstrations
- Provide end-user training and support
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of hands-on Microsoft Power Platform development
- Experience developing Power Apps (Canvas and/or Model-Driven)
- Experience building Power Automate workflows
- 2+ years of experience in business processes, process improvement, operations, or operational excellence
- Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with SharePoint, Excel, Dataverse, or SQL
Preferred Qualifications:
- Power BI experience
- Power Fx, APIs, or custom connectors
- Financial services, risk, compliance, or regulatory operations experience
- Agile/Scrum/SAFe experience
- Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or Microsoft Power Platform certification
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale automation initiatives
