Power & HVAC Project Manager

We are recruiting an HVAC Project Manager/Mechanic in the Shreveport area to join one of the largest equipment rental providers in the world. This role is a hybrid position involving hands-on HVAC maintenance/repair as well as full project and service oversight, coordinating the deployment, setup, maintenance, and job-site execution of HVAC systems, chillers, and air quality equipment.

The ideal candidate brings strong project management capabilities paired with deep technical expertise in commercial and industrial HVAC equipment. You will lead field initiatives, manage equipment logistics, and serve as the main point of contact for clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and manage temporary power and climate control projects from initial site delivery through breakdown and demobilization.
• Coordinate field crews, schedule routine maintenance, and oversee on-site repairs of industrial HVAC systems, chillers, and air quality equipment.
• Serve as the technical primary point of contact for key client accounts, demonstrating equipment functionality, resolving technical issues, and managing scope requirements on customer sites.
• Guide technicians in diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, diesel, and pneumatic systems on high-value equipment.
• Enforce safety compliance across all project sites and conduct quality checks on all completed field service work and system setups.
• Manage equipment allocation, parts procurement, and unit dispatch to meet project timelines efficiently.

Qualifications/Requirements

• 5–10 years of hands-on experience working with commercial and/or industrial HVAC systems.
• Proven track record in project management, crew leadership, resource scheduling, or service management within the industrial/commercial HVAC equipment space.
• Background in HVAC operations and strong diagnostic skills across mechanical, diesel, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Open to local or out-of-town candidates willing to travel to project sites as required.
