Power Delivery Engineer

SourcePro Search has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Power Delivery Engineer.  This is a direct hire opportunity and offers a high base salary with excellent benefits. The successful candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. At least five years of experience in the electric utility industry for an electric distribution cooperative or electric distribution/transmission company. Familiarity and experience with Investor Owned Utilities is preferred.RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordination of power delivery to ensure adequate, timely, safe, and reliable power supply
• Analysis of electric distribution and transmission systems, including metering
• Confer with stakeholders in the planning and development of new load projects
• Develop and recommend projects to improve electric system reliability
• Gather /coordinate / maintain outage records and reconciliation/manipulation of associated data sets
• Provide on-call outage support and manage mutual assistance requests
• Gather and process reliability information to update existing records, manipulate data sets for analysis, and share detailed reports with a variety of stakeholders
• Analyze and process data records to identify concerns or issues with the electric delivery system
• Develop or recommend enhancements or alternate operating solutions for electric reliability concerns
• Support the Principal Engineer in the development of electric power supply to new or existing loads
• Establish and maintain constructive interpersonal relationships with all stakeholders
• Update and maintain AutoCAD files
• Support semi-annual engineering section meetings
