Full Time Contract Title: Power BI & Power Apps Specialist
Location: Barceloneta, PR

Position Description
RCM Technologies is seeking a skilled
Power BI & Power Apps Specialist to support our biopharmaceutical client in Barceloneta, PR. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate workflows, build custom Power Apps, develop robust data models, and deliver interactive Power BI dashboards that drive data-driven decision-making within a regulated manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Application & Report Development: Design, develop, and deploy custom Power Apps solutions (Canvas/Model-Driven) and integrate them seamlessly with Power BI reporting tools.
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with department heads and operational stakeholders to translate complex business needs into intuitive digital solutions.
- Data Modeling & ETL: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from diverse enterprise sources (SQL Server, Azure, SharePoint) to build scalable, high-performance data models.
- Dashboard Analytics: Create, optimize, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and visualizations, ensuring data integrity, security, and adherence to visual best practices.
- System Integration: Customize and extend Power Platform solutions using Azure services, SQL databases, and full-stack development principles where applicable.
- Support & Maintenance: Provide technical support, user troubleshooting, and continuous enhancement for active Power Apps and Power BI solutions on-site.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for data models, system architecture, workflow designs, and app configurations.
- Process Optimization: Identify manual processes across site operations and propose automated digital workflows to improve efficiency and reliability.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3 5+ years of hands-on experience developing Power Apps solutions and enterprise Power BI reports.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Advanced DAX, Power Query, and M language capabilities.
- Strong database management skills using SQL Server and Microsoft Azure services.
- Solid understanding of full-stack development concepts (API integrations, UI/UX structure, logic flow).
- Familiarity with Dataverse, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 ecosystem integrations.
- Data Architecture: Deep understanding of data modeling, relational databases, ETL pipelines, and data security standards.
- Analytical & Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, ability to manage timelines independently, and excellent bilingual communication (English/Spanish) for cross-departmental collaboration.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications (Preferred):
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate (PL-100)
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400)
- Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300)
