Description
Requirements
- 3 or more years of experience in Business Intelligence and Microsoft Power BI report development.
- Proficiency in T-SQL query development and relational database management systems.
- Experience with migrating legacy Mainframe FOCUS and WebFOCUS queries into modern SQL scripts.
- Experience in IBM DB2 databases, enterprise data warehousing, and advanced Star or Snowflake schemas.
- Experience with engineering Power BI dataflows, paginated reports, and dedicated workspace administration.
- Experience in evaluating financial data models and enforcing strict enterprise data governance practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to deliver end-user training and technical roadmaps.
Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain advanced Microsoft Power BI dashboards, paginated reports, and automated dataflows.
- Translate and convert legacy Mainframe FOCUS and WebFOCUS reporting queries into optimized T-SQL code.
- Collaborate with database administrators to construct complex views and stored procedures for enterprise reporting.
- Automate financial data transformation workflows to eliminate manual data manipulations and spreadsheet dependencies.
- Formulate strategic organizational reporting roadmaps while enhancing existing financial reports for business stakeholders.
- Administer dedicated Power BI workspaces and oversee the integration of associated enterprise ecosystem tools.
- Facilitate technical training sessions for end-users to ensure widespread adoption of new business intelligence solutions.
