Title: Power BI Developer
Location: Sandy Springs, GA – onsite
Job Description:
This position requires an individual who is a highly skilled IT professional to lead all facets of system development within Power BI. The ideal candidate would be responsible for the implementation of information technology projects for the IT Portfolio Management Office. Project responsibilities include plans, resource planning, technical leadership, systems integration and technical architecture. Operational support responsibilities include managing work assignments and deliverables
Towards the development of Power BI reports. Provide enhancements to the reports and resolution of defects. This position reports to directly to the IT Department Manager for the Portfolio Management Office .
Responsibilities
The tasks include, but are not limited to:
• Locate and extract data from a variety of sources for use in analysis, models and reporting.
• Aggregate views of data sources into meaningful hierarchies.
• Develop Power BI reports and analyses with direction from other senior members on the team.
• Present findings to leads using visual story telling.
• Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
• Have a team first attitude with the success of our team and business partners as their top priority.
• Be intellectually curious, ask questions and speak up when they have an idea.
• Be independent workers who look for problems to solve and then come up with innovative ideas.
• Work independently without frequent management direction and know when to communicate status or escalate issues to their manager, teammates or stakeholders.
Compliance and information security
- Be compliant with IT controls for the required products. Ensure planning, implementation, and appropriate controls in place to meet information security requirements and tasks.
- Provide constructive ideas and suggestions to Product Owners and Managers.

Qualifications
Education:
University degree or above in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
3+ years of experience in data warehousing projects, data preparation, and data gateways. They should be experienced and familiar with other Business Intelligence analytical tools, such as SSRS, SSAS, and SSIS. They should have basic knowledge of JavaScript and SQL.
