Role Overview: The candidate will help get new implementations started, make updates, guide teams on updates to production reports, and triage challenges by offering solutions based on experience. Guide existing BI developers, oversee and verify delivery, and train/upskill existing resources.

Job Title: Power BI Developer
Location: Newark, NJ (Onsite 3 days), Day 1 onsite availability is Expected.
Duration: 6 Months
 
Salary Range: $52.00 - $55.00/Hour on W2 (Without Benefits).

Role Overview:

• The candidate will help get new implementations started, make updates, guide teams on updates to production reports, and triage challenges by offering solutions based on experience.

Required Skills:

• Power BI (Desktop, Service).
• DAX and Power Query (M).
• Data modeling concepts.
• Data warehousing (fact/dimension, star schema).
• ETL/ELT processes.
• Microsoft Fabric.
• Azure, Fabric, or cloud data platforms (preferred).
• APIs and data integration tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into an immersive BI experience.
• Understand the Target State BI Architecture plan and deliver components as the project progresses.
• Understand access, connections, and security models for data and report access.
• Guide existing BI developers, oversee and verify delivery, and train/upskill existing resources.
• Understand best practices for Fabric/Power BI delivery implementations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for BI solutions using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
• Design and develop Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models to meet business needs.
• Optimize Power BI solutions for performance, scalability, and usability.
• Implement best practices for data visualization and user experience in Power BI.
• Integrate and utilize Microsoft Fabric to enhance data connectivity and analytics workflows.
• Perform unit testing to validate the accuracy and validity of reports and data integrity.
• Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and industry trends.

Mandatory Technical Requirement:

• Microsoft Fabric Power BI experience is mandatory.
• The candidate must have experience working with Microsoft Fabric to create Power BI reports.

Required Experience:

• Overall Experience Required 8 to 10 Years.
• Must Have 7+ years in Microsoft Power BI.

Desirable Skills:

• Java Developer experience.
