    We are hiring for a Power BI Developer opportunity.

    Role: Power BI Developer

    Location: Remote

    Position: 1

    Role Overview:

    We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to support a Power BI ETL migration initiative and modernize existing reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI development, data modeling, DAX, SQL, and dashboard design. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and developing new reporting dashboards while migrating existing Tableau reports to the Power BI platform.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements
    • Design and build ETL solutions to support new reporting dashboards
    • Develop scalable data models and reporting solutions within Power BI
    • Perform Power BI ETL migration activities from Tableau to Power BI
    • Configure data connectivity, refresh processes, and reporting environments
    • Apply appropriate security controls to ensure authorized access to reporting data
    • Optimize reports, queries, and data models for improved performance
    • Analyze existing Tableau reports and translate reporting requirements into Power BI solutions
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders and data teams to understand reporting needs
    • Troubleshoot data, dashboard, refresh, and performance issues

    Required Skills:

    • Strong hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service
    • Experience with Power Query, Dataflows, and Power BI Gateway
    • Advanced DAX development skills
    • Strong expertise in data modeling and Row-Level Security (RLS)
    • Experience with Power BI performance optimization and incremental refresh
    • Advanced SQL development experience
    • Strong experience with PostgreSQL
    • Experience with database performance tuning and query optimization
    • Experience designing and developing ETL solutions for reporting platforms
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    Preferred Skills:

    • Experience migrating reporting solutions from Tableau to Power BI
    • Experience working on enterprise reporting modernization initiatives
    • Knowledge of reporting governance and dashboard standards
    • Experience gathering reporting requirements from business stakeholders
    • Strong understanding of data visualization best practices
    • Experience supporting large-scale business intelligence environments

    Education Requirement:

    Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
