Power BI Developer

IDR is seeking a Power BI Developer to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions, creating reusable data models, and optimizing reports for performance within a dynamic organization in the analytics industry.

Position Overview for the Power BI Developer:

• Develops and maintains Power BI reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.
• Creates reusable semantic data models within Power BI that are efficient and scalable.
• Connects to various data sources including APIs, SQL databases, and cloud services.
• Optimizes Power BI reports and data models for performance using tools like DAX Studio.
• Collaborates with organizational teams to automate data refreshes and manage access controls.

Requirements for the Power BI Developer:

• Experience establishing re-usable semantic data models within Power BI.
• Proficiency in using Excel at an intermediate level, comfortable with complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Familiarity with running tabular editor best practice analyzer.
• Capable of connecting to multiple data sources including streaming datasets.
• Knowledge of AI tools and leveraging AI technologies to enhance data processes and workflows.
