We are seeking a Power BI Developer to work on a remote team in Pacific Time Zone hours. The W2 hourly rate range is $65.00 to $79.68 per hour.
- This is a POWER BI Developer - working on clinical trial data from Medidata Rave EDC system
- Not a data manager or someone that builds databases form clinical trials
- This is a data analytics role
- You will use the collected data and provide analytics to the team. Help clinical trial teams drive engagement, safety, etc.
- 5+ years of exp developing in Power BI
- 1+ years of healthcare/clinical is ideal, but not required
- Power Query M, SQL, Dax
- Data Modeling and data transformations
- Relational data
- Explore and ask questions about data
- Liaison with requestors for data analytics dashboards - collecting requirements and working with them to create dashboards
- Comfortable working with customers to understand requests
- Working with large groups of people

Job Description:
- Liaise with reporting team and clinical project teams, as needed, to gather clinical report and data listing needs and requests to ensure that all of the report/data requirements are clearly understood and meet the requestor's requirements.
- Participate in the requirement collection, design, development, unit testing, user acceptance testing and maintenance of clinical study reports, and data deliverables for multiple clinical studies (databases) according to the department SOPs.
- Develop reports and dashboards using Power BI Desktop, MS Fabric and PBI Service.
- Liaise with the Report Development and Validation team to ensure report deliverables are released in accordance with rules and regulations and in corporate compliance.
- Liaise with Clinical IT, IT to address and resolve technical issues.
EXPERIENCE
Required:
- 5+ years developing reports and Dashboards using Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power Query, Power Query M, and DAX, SQL or equivalent BI technology
- Experience with data modeling, data transformation, and data visualization
- Knowledge of SQL and ability to write moderately complex queries
- 5+ years liaising with customers and documenting report requirements
- Proven ability to produce complex clinical study reports using Power BI
- Adherence to department SOPs and a regulated environment
- Good organizational skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities a must.
