Power BI Consultant (Analytics & Reporting)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Power BI Consultant<\/b> to design, build, and optimize enterprise‑grade analytics and reporting solutions<\/b> that support executive decision‑making, operational performance, and financial visibility across a complex, global organization.

This role focuses on delivering scalable, governed, and high‑performance Power BI solutions<\/b> using modern Microsoft analytics capabilities<\/b>, including Power BI Service, DAX, semantic models, and Microsoft Fabric‑aligned architectures<\/b>. The ideal candidate combines strong technical depth with a solid understanding of business KPIs, manufacturing or operations‑centric data, and stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities

Power BI Solution Design & Development
<\/h3>

• Design and build Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models<\/b> for enterprise audiences
  <\/li>
• Develop optimized DAX measures<\/b> for complex KPIs, trends, and performance analysis
  <\/li>
• Implement star‑schema and dimensional models<\/b> to support scalable analytics
  <\/li>
• Apply best practices for visual design, usability, and performance<\/b>
  <\/li><\/ul>

  Modern Microsoft Analytics Stack
  <\/h3>

  • Leverage Power BI Service<\/b> capabilities including:
    • Apps, workspaces, deployment pipelines
      <\/li>
    • Row‑level security (RLS) and object‑level security
      <\/li>
    • Scheduled refresh and data gateways
      <\/li><\/ul><\/li>
    • Work with Microsoft Fabric‑aligned architectures<\/b>, including:
      • Lakehouse / warehouse concepts
        <\/li>
      • Direct Lake or DirectQuery strategies (where applicable)
        <\/li><\/ul><\/li>
      • Partner with data engineers on data pipelines, refresh strategies, and model optimization
        <\/li><\/ul>

        Data Integration & Performance

        • Consume data from multiple enterprise sources, such as:
          • ERP and operational systems
            <\/li>
          • Manufacturing, supply chain, and finance platforms
            <\/li>
          • Cloud data warehouses and lakes
            <\/li><\/ul><\/li>
          • Optimize report and model performance by:
            • Reducing model size and cardinality
              <\/li>
            • Optimizing DAX and relationships
              <\/li>
            • Implementing aggregation and incremental refresh strategies

              Stakeholder Enablement & Governance

              • Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics needs

              • Translate requirements into clear, trusted dashboards and insights

              • Establish governance standards for datasets, metrics, and reporting consistency

              • Support user adoption through documentation, walkthroughs, and enablement sessions

                • 5–8+ years<\/b> of hands‑on experience with Power BI<\/b>

                • Strong expertise in:
                  • DAX

                  • Data modeling (star schema, fact/dimension design)
                    <\/li>
                  • Power BI Service & workspace management
                    <\/li><\/ul><\/li>
                  • Experience working with large, complex datasets
                    <\/li>
                  • Strong SQL skills for data analysis and validation
                    <\/li>
                  • Proven ability to build executive‑ready dashboards and operational reports
                    <\/li>
                  • Experience working in enterprise or global organizations
                    <\/li>
                  • Excellent communication skills with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
