? $16+/hour, based on experience
?? Overtime is required when necessary, including some Saturdays
We’re looking for an experienced Powder Coater to join a custom job shop. This position applies powder coatings to various products to provide a durable, corrosion-resistant finish.
Requirements:
• Electrostatic coating experience required
• Must be able to perform color changes in a custom job shop environment
• Experience setting up and operating powder coating equipment
• Comfortable working in a hot flocking room — employees rotate as needed
• Bilingual is a plus
• Dependable and able to work required overtime when necessary
Job Duties:
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed
• Set up and operate powder coating equipment, including spray guns and booths
• Select, prepare, and load powder according to color and job specifications
• Apply powder coatings evenly and accurately to achieve the desired finish
• Monitor adhesion and coverage throughout the coating process
• Adjust sprayer valves and nozzles as needed
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance
• Follow all safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
