Summary: Nesco Resource is looking for dependable and motivated individuals to join our manufacturing team as Powder Coaters / Utility Workers! Candidates with previous powder coating experience are encouraged to apply. Individuals with experience in automotive painting, industrial painting, or applying coatings to other products may also be a great fit.

We are also interested in manufacturing candidates with material handling and general production experience who are interested in learning the powder coating trade and developing new skills. This role will be considered a temp-to-perm contract.

Pay Rate:

• $20.00 - $25.00/Hour (Based On Exp.)

Shift:

• A Shift:
  • Monday – Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Friday | 6:00 AM – 11:00 AM
    • Currently running some overtime
      • Optional Saturday overtime may be available
• B Shift:
  • Monday – Thursday | 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM
  • Friday | 6:00 AM – 11:00 AM (As Needed)
    • Currently running some overtime
      • Optional Saturday overtime may be available

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform powder coating operations as part of the manufacturing process, as experience and training allow.
• Prepare and handle products and materials throughout the production process.
• Assist with material handling and movement of products throughout the manufacturing area.
• Support general manufacturing and production operations as needed.
• Apply coatings to products while maintaining consistent quality and appearance.
• Follow established production procedures and quality expectations.
• Maintain an organized and efficient work area.
• Follow workplace safety practices and company procedures.
• Learn new processes and assist with additional production duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Previous manufacturing, production, or material handling experience preferred.
• Previous powder coating experience is a plus.
• Automotive painting, industrial painting, or experience applying coatings to other products is also beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable, hardworking, and willing to learn new skills.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
• Flexibility to assist with different production responsibilities as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on powder coating experience.
• Automotive body shop or industrial painting experience.
• Previous material handling or general manufacturing experience.
• Interest in learning and developing skills in powder coating.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• Fast-paced manufacturing and assembly environment
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
• Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Frequent repetitive use of hands and arms
• Exposure to manufacturing noise, dust, and varying temperatures
• Required use of appropriate PPE and adherence to all safety procedures
