Location: Siloam Springs, AR

$14.50 per hour

Shift: Tuesday - Saturday | 8 AM - 5 PM

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic equipment.
  • Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, blueprints, or equipment documentation.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
  • Commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship, and preventative maintenance practices.

Job Duties

  • Monitor and maintain feed systems, water supply systems, mechanical scrapers, cooling and ventilation equipment, and egg collection equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on poultry house equipment
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and ensure equipment operates efficiently
  • Support daily operations by maintaining a safe and productive work environment
  • Report equipment concerns and assist with preventative maintenance activities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related technical environment is preferred.
  • Experience performing preventative maintenance programs and responding to equipment breakdowns is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of PLCs, electrical controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, or fabrication is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate strong troubleshooting abilities, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous improvement are well positioned for success as a Poultry House Maintenance Technician.

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and work in a variety of industrial environments throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift equipment, tools, and replacement parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely work around moving machinery while following established safety procedures.
  • Manual dexterity to operate tools, perform repairs, and inspect equipment.
