Our laboratory studies the molecular mechanisms of cardiovascular conditions associated with metabolic dysfunction, with emphasis on cardiac remodeling, arrhythmia, and cardiometabolic disease. The postdoc will study the molecular mechanisms of heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) and atrial fibrillation (AF). The postdoc is expected to design and perform various experiments in cell and molecular biology, biochemistry, transcriptomics, and cardiovascular physiology, analyze data, and communicate results both orally and in publications. Also, is also expected to collaborate with other researchers.
