The Danthi laboratory is seeking a Postdoctoral research fellow for our NIH supported project on the detection of reovirus infection. We investigate how viral and host factor affect the exposure and accumulation of viral RNA in the cell and investigate the consequences of aberrant exposure of viral RNA. The individual hired into this position will continue ongoing research into this area and initiate new projects related to the reovirus-host interactions. The ideal candidate will should have knowledge, experience and confidence to work in independently and help other laboratory members.
