Keep production moving.Vangarden Cannabis is looking for an experienced Post Processing Supervisor to join our team and help lead the day-to-day operations of our Post Processing department.This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows cannabis post processing, takes pride in quality and organization, and can keep a team focused in a fast-moving production environment. Working closely with the Post Processing Manager, you'll help oversee department operations across trimming, dry, cure, harvest, sorting, quality control, waste disposal, and inventory management.You'll be responsible for assigning work, training team members, maintaining SOP compliance, solving production issues, and helping ensure the department operates safely, efficiently, and consistently.If you're ready to take your cannabis experience to the next level and play an important role in leading a growing team, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll DoLead and support the daily operations of the Post Processing departmentAssign daily tasks to Processing Leads and TechniciansTrain new team members across Post Processing functions, including trimming, dry, cure, harvest, crop inspection and sorting, quality control, waste disposal, and inventory managementPerform routine Post Processing tasks and provide hands-on support where neededHelp create and update departmental SOPs with oversight from the Post Processing ManagerEnsure team members follow established SOPs and department proceduresBuild department schedules and plans with oversight from the Post Processing ManagerTroubleshoot problems and help resolve production disruptionsSupport personnel management and corrective action in partnership with the Post Processing Manager, Director of Cultivation, and HRConduct performance reviews with oversight from the Post Processing Manager and HRMaintain a clean, sanitized, and organized work environment and equipmentComplete detailed logs and forms related to machinery processes and maintenanceMaintain clear, kind, and respectful communication with team members and managementWhat We're Looking ForAt least 2 years of relevant cannabis and leadership experienceIn-depth knowledge of cannabis Post Processing techniquesProficiency with Metrc track-and-trace softwareFamiliarity with safety, compliance, and regulatory requirementsExperience with quality control proceduresStrong attention to detail and the ability to focus on complex and sensitive processesStrong leadership, organizational, and time management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to adapt and thrive in a growing, dynamic startup environmentOccasional weekend availabilityFluent in Microsoft Excel Physical RequirementsThis is a hands-on production role that requires the ability to:Stand for extended periods on concrete floorsFrequently walk, reach, and work with your hands and armsConsistently lift 10–20 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.Work both standing and seatedClimb ladders or stairways while maintaining balanceStoop, kneel, crouch, and reach as neededPerform manual tasks requiring grasping, turning, pinching, and other fine motor skillsWhy This Role?This is an opportunity to bring your cannabis production experience into a leadership role where you can directly impact the team, the process, and the quality of our work.
