provides a balanced and fulfilling life for our customers.Organizational Structure The Post-Harvest Manager will report directly to the Head Grower and will work closely with the Processing Manager and all Post-Harvest Trim Tech's will report up to this management roleCore Duties and ResponsibilitiesFollowing company SOP's and guidance from the Head GrowerManage all aspects of post-harvest production including daily monitoring of deboning, dry room turns, and trim processesAssist with SOP development and training for all post-harvest trim techsFamiliarity with industry specific joint machines and proper cleaning proceduresStrong hand trimming skills and ability to train all Post-harvest techs on proper trim techniques while developing baselines and tracking metrics with an emphasis on continuous improvement and qualityOversight on packaging of all finished flower products including bulk, pre-pack, and jointsAssist with scheduling and managing all flower for 3rd party testing, physically and electronicallyResponsible for prioritization, completion, and documentation of all tasks performed by the post-harvest trim techsAbility to assist with initial ordering of all equipment and supplies needed and the timely reordering of all consumablesPerform routine inventory auditsEnsure that all flower and byproducts are labeled and stored properly in full compliance with METRC, state regulations, and company SOPsDevelopment and upkeep of preventative maintenance schedules in order to keep the performance and cleanliness of all equipment used in optimal conditionDevelop and perform routine QA/QC checks on flower during all phases of post-harvest productionEnsures consistency over all trimmed product and joints producedAbility to collect, analyze, interpret, and present data for review frequentlyAssist in monitoring and maintaining the optimal dry room environmental conditionsAbility to provide effective, communicative leadership to employees and address all concerns in a timely and productive mannerEnsure all staff follows company SOPs and state specific regulationsAssist with developing and managing projects as neededAbility to stay on top of production scheduling while delegating and supporting the post-harvest trim techsMaintain exceptional cleanliness and organization in all post-harvest production areas including the dry and trim rooms, and upkeep of all equipment and tools usedEnsure the proper use of PPE by employees at all timesAssist in determining when the flower is ready for deboning based on proper moisture levelsAssist in establishing initial and ongoing training for employees to ensure an adequate level of understanding regarding guidelines, policies and proceduresPerform employee reviews per company guidelinesAbility to manage, coach, and discipline staff in a professional and respectful mannerSet personal and team goals based on the needs of the business to drive success and to promote inclusionDevelop exceptional visual management tools for use in post-production areasAbility and willingness to assist other departments on an as needed basisEnvironmental and Physical DemandsAbility to frequently move and/or lift a maximum of 50 poundsAbility to stand, sit, move, kneel, and/or bend for extended time periodsAbility to work in varying indoor environmental conditions including temperature and humidity changesRequirements and QualificationsMinimum of a high school diploma or general education diplomaMust be at least 21 years old per state regulationMinimum of 2 years professional management experience in a relative fieldMinimum of 3 years experience in the cannabis industryMust have strong hand trimming skills and ability to teach a team to trimFull understanding of METRC and proper entry proceduresFamiliarity with Michigan compliance regulationsUnderstanding of excel and ability to draft and update spreadsheets dailySubject to a state required background checkAbility to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and/or on a flexible schedule when neededManagers will regularly work 40+ hours a weekMust live near or relocate to within 45 miles of Constantine, MIAbility to work independently and/or as part of a team utilizing critical thinking skillsAbility to multi-task and have effective time management skillsStrong verbal communication skills are requiredAdaptability to changing priorities in order to meet company goalsFollow all state and company regulations regarding cannabis cultivation practicesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment
