Context of the Job:
We invite applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher to join a dynamic, interdisciplinary research team investigating the molecular mechanisms of subcellular RNA transport and post transcriptional regulation mediated by microRNAs during early development. This is a unique opportunity to conduct cutting-edge science and collaborate with a dedicated team of students to advance knowledge in the fields of cell and developmental biology.
Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly motivated researcher to join our laboratory, which focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms of post-transcriptional regulation during early development using sea urchin embryos and mammalian cells as models.
The successful candidate will contribute to a collaborative project investigating the evolutionarily conserved functions of microRNAs and their subcellular transport during development. Utilizing microinjection, cellular, molecular, biochemical, proteomics, and fluorescence microscopy techniques, the researcher will develop novel approaches to assess microRNA regulation and functions in fixed and living embryos and mammalian cells.
